I have decided to return to sender all the junk mail I have been receiving lately. I am almost overwhelmed with it. How did it happen? I guess I know. I filled out a request for information on the benefits of having this surgery and mailed it off. Therefore, I am now on I don’t know how many mailing lists around the country. I get so much mail about this surgery; you would think it was a struggling business. The Lasik in Orange County brochure is one piece of mail that lets me know they are not really trying to be personal about talking to you in particular. They are just trying to drum up customers from where ever they can find them. I guess if you mail out enough advertisements, you are bound to get a response. I will be sending back all the junk mail from now on. If there is an addressed return envelope, I will be sure to use it. Not that them knowing they wasted a little postage will be a deterrent, but it will surely make me feel like I am fighting the onslaught of junk mail to my mailbox in some small way.
