Lasik eye surgery information is not hard to find. It's in the Yellow Pages. It's in the paper. It's on the web. It's everywhere. The best information I get is from those who have had the procedure itself. Ed, my buddy from work, who is in the purchasing department, has had the procedure. He got it done years, and he has not had any side effects. His girlfriend, Mimi, has had the procedure too. She loves the fact that she no longer needs glasses or contacts. Even my aunt, who is 67, has had it done. I will get it done, I'm sure. But I'm always fearful on anybody around my eyes with any instruments. I will get a few consultations in the next couple of weeks, and then decide what to do. I know I will be happy once I get it done. I am so sick of carrying several pairs of glasses around. I'm always losing a set. They are like socks getting lost in the wash. You just end up losing them, and you don't know how. When I get the procedure I will be free of all that. So I have an appointment for next Thursday, at a doctor close to here. Tara is going with me to one of the appointments, and if she is satisfied with the doctors she may have it done herself.
